About Me

Hi.  I’m Shirley Hubbard.

Welcome to my little corner of the world, sis.

Just in case you’re wondering, my strong is rocking my resting b***h face because sometimes I don’t feel like smiling.

Don’t  you just hate when someone looks at you and utters the word, “smile”.

That is by far one of my biggest pet peeves.

I  hate it SO HARD!

Seriously, who walks around smiling all day? Certainly not me. Just because I’m not smiling, doesn’t mean I’m not happy.

AND just because I AM smiling doesn’t mean I’m happy, right?

Cool! Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, you’ve probably gathered that I am NOT your regular degular shmegular girl!

 I’m a big hair loving,
high heel wearing,

loving my life unmasked, Strong Black Woman who dares to do life  life differently.

I’ve sown seeds of hope, healing and happiness in the lives of women from all walks of life…

women who’s lives were turned upside down by back to back traumatic events, women who were on the verge of calling it quits on everything and women who want more, but are not quite sure what MORE is.

Over the span of several years, I’ve been able to help them heal from the things they’re often ashamed to talk about and assure them that no matter how bad it gets, it REALLY does get good again.

I absolutely live for supporting and holding space for Black women who find themselves drowning in the middle of their own lives. I do that by way of healing workshops, guided meditations, and our sista circle and I would love for you to join me on the excursion of your choice.

And when I’m not doing all of those things, I’m loving on and  hanging out with my grand babies who have somehow figured out how to bottle happiness, and they are not stingy with it either.  I mean they’re out here just giving this stuff away like it’s free, so you know I’m well stocked, right?

I love them to pieces!

Anyway, I’m so happy you stopped by to get to know me a little better and I hope you snatched up a bottle or two of that happiness.  I can’t very well keep it all to myself. So, grab as much as you need. There is plenty more where that came from.
