April marks Black Women’s History Month, and this series was created to honor the full, lived experiences of Black women in a way that often gets overlooked. This series centers Black women support stories told in their own words.

The 26 Black Women: What Strength Took. What Support Could Have Given storytelling series centers real conversations with Black women about the realities behind being “strong” and the kind of support that was missing.

Each episode creates space for Black women to speak in their own words, not just about what they’ve been through, but about who they are beyond it.

This trailer introduces the intention behind the series and what listeners can expect over the next 26 days.

If you’ve ever questioned what support for Black women really looks like in everyday life, this series was created with you in mind.
